German Shorthaired Pointer - Medium - Adult - Male - Dog - Clyde

Clyde is a 5 yr old male GSP who would love nothing more than to snuggle up in your lap and be your new best friend! He social with every person he meets and also gets along well with other dogs. He loves to chase tennis balls, and to settle down with a good chew bone. He is at the age where GSPs tend to start calming down a bit, and does not need as much exercise as younger dogs would. He knows sit and come, and walks pretty well on leash (he does pull a bit), but loves his walks! He is housebroken and crate trained. Clyde would not make a good hunter as he is very gun shy. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard (as would almost all GSPs). Clyde was heartworm positive when we got him, but has been successfully treated and is now on heartworm prevention and healthy. He has been neutered and is up-to-date on all vaccines. He is also micro chipped. Due to the high volume of inquiries and the fact that we are 100% percent volunteers, please e-mail us at info@hsomc first for the adoption application. As inquiries come in they will be numbered. All dogs and puppies have had the appropriate vaccines, worming, and flea control. They have tested negative for heartworm or have been treated. They are all fostered at our volunteers homes, as we have no shelter at this time. At this time, no adoptions outside the state of Michigan. Adoption rates for altered dogs and pups are $200. Unaltered pups are $150 and you must prepay for a spay and neuter with your veterinarian before we finalize the adoption. Adopt from a rescue! See you soon!
