THIS SWEET GIRL IS NOT UP FOR ADOPTION AT THIS TIME!! DONATIONS NEEDED!! UPDATE: THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HAS DONATED FOR FREIA. We are almost there with donations. We STILL need $555.00 to get her surgery. PLEASE HELP HER!!! UPDATE: Freia has now seen an orthopedic surgeon. The vet that we have been taking her to was unsure on whether to amputate her left leg or try to repair it. We wanted to make sure that the decision that was made was the best one, as we want no further problems for her in the future. Her pelvis is healed and now able to have a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) on the left side, which is a surgical procedure that removes the femoral head and neck from the femur. This surgery will cost about $1500.00. We have had some wonderful donations come in for her, but are still in need of help to pay for her surgery. PLEASE HELP!!! Freia (AKA Queenie) is a 4 month old Pom that we pulled from the Saginaw County Animal Care Center here in Saginaw. She was found as a stray and was hit by a car. She has a broken pelvis and may have to have a leg amputated off. She goes to the vet for further xrays and work this week. DONATIONS ARE URGENTLY NEEDED TO COVER THE COST OF HER VET CARE. Please find it in your heart to help!! She is such a sweet special girl that definetly deserved a chance. THANK YOU to the wonderful men and women at the shelter here in Saginaw for giving her a chance and allowing our rescue to help her. All of the dogs in our rescue come with a: General Health Exam, Spay/Neuter (over 6 months),Rabies Vaccination, Distemper (DHLPP) Vaccination, Bordetella, Heartworm Check, Dewormed, Flea treatment, Basic grooming, Treated for any other medical problems. ALL dogs receive a monthly heartworm preventative in the Spring & Summer months while in rescue. **ALL adult dogs, now come with a Saginaw County Dog License** If you adopt a dog from our rescue and you DO NOT live in Saginaw, the license will be transferred over to your county. **If you adopt a puppy on a spay/neuter contract, it will be the new adopters responsibility to purchase a dog license.** PAWZ 4 LIFE OFFERS THIS FOR ALL ANIMALS ADOPTED * Provide continual support after every adoption * Offers health insurance through Petfirst Health Care * Provide all vet records to adopters * FREE certificate for an 8x10 from Penzkofer Photography
